On Thursday, we had a Teen JAM Session about image. Image is the way you see yourself or how others see you. Nowadays people only worry about what other people say about them negatively, especially when you get to middle or high school. We try to keep up with the latest trends and have the same clothes and styles as our friends. Girls change their appearance because they want boys to like them more, and some even give out their bodies. I know I shouldn’t pay attention to what others say negatively about me. I pay attention to the positive in myself. I look in the mirror and tell myself every morning that I’m beautiful and I don’t need anyone to tell me that. God made everyone different in their own way, so no I won’t look like my best friend or my sister, but I always remember I’m beautiful in my own way.
