So this week's JAM SESSION WAS AWESOME! We talked about the famous four letter word, "LOVE."  I wanted to give you all some scriptures and links that captures God's Love for us. 

John 3:16- The Story of Love  (Please watch the video if you did not attend, it is very powerful)

Scriptures:

"For God Loved the world so much that he gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life"- John 3:16

"Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.  It does not demand its own way.  It is not irritable and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice, but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance"-1 Corinthians 13:4-7

"God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only son into the world, so that we might have eternal life through him"-1 John 4:9

"And as we live in God, our Love grows more perfect."- 1 John 4:17

"May the Lord lead [My] heart into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ"- 2 Thes. 3:5

"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love.  Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow- not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love.  No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."-Romans 8:38-39

I challenge you to remember Love is a choice.  God sacrificed his one and only son for us out of love.  So, when you choose to love someone remember God is Love and you should strive to portray it by the actions stated in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. (Take that as a challenge for everyday living, I know I am)
